Dan's career began with the City of Los Angeles in 2013 at the office of Councilmember Tom LaBonge, 4th District, where he served as the field deputy for the Greater Griffith Park area. From 2014-2018, he served as the Hollywood field deputy for Councilmember O'Farrell.
Dan also managed the Southern California field office for future California Gov. Gavin Newsom's successful campaign for Lieutenant Governor of California in 2010.
Additionally, Dan has been a member of the Rautenberg New Leaders Project (NLP), a program of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles; he currently serves on NLP's Steering Committee.
